Over the past few years we’ve received an incredible number of inquiries from customers interested in donating old uniforms. We’ve listened to your requests and we’re excited to announce that we have launched a new program that will allow us to recycle these uniforms and incorporate the material into the production of our bags, beginning with the Limited Edition Uniform Tote!
Through the program, uniform donors will have the opportunity to share the legacy of their or a family member's military service by submitting a short bio to be posted on our website.
All uniform donors will also receive 20% OFF their next Sword & Plough purchase!
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS!
You gather the military uniforms that you no longer want and send them to us with a pre-paid shipping label.
We sort the uniforms and cut out patterns with the help of one of our local veteran partners.
We send the cut surplus to our veteran-owned manufacturing facility in Florida, where the materials are sewn into pockets.
The finished Limited Edition Uniform Tote Bags are sold, and 10% of profits are donated to Comeback Yoga.
ANY LEFTOVER UNIFORM SCRAPS ARE DONATED TO GOODWILL AND THE THREADCYCLE PROGRAM WHERE THEY ARE RECYCLED INTO INDUSTRIAL WIPING CLOTHS, SOUND-PROOFING, INSULATION AND MORE.

Do I get a free bag if I donate the materials?
We unfortunately are not able to offer free product to those who donate their old uniforms, however, as a thank you for your support we will be sending you a $20 OFF coupon!
Do I have to pay for the cost of shipping the uniforms?
No, we'll cover the cost of shipping the uniforms! Once you complete the above form we will reach out with additional instructions and a pre-paid FedEx shipping label.
Can I purchase a bag made with the actual materials that I donated?
We would love for your to purchase one of our "Limited Edition" Uniform Bags, however, we unfortunately are not able to guarantee that the bag you receive will be made with the uniforms that you donated.
Can I request a bag with a specific pattern or color pocket material?
Given the volume of purchases and the significant variation in fabric material, we unfortunately are not able to accommodate requests for pockets made from specific material at this time. Because all of our pockets are cut from used uniforms, each bag is truly unique!
